Real Strawberry Cake with Strawberry Icing

This indeed a very special and close to my heart cake. First time I tried attempting a strawberry cake with strawberry icing. This came out really well and very tasty too.  I made this cake for my elder nephew on his 10th birthday. It was a very small home bound celebration. This cake and the icing is made using fresh strawberries. The writing has been done with Blue color icing. I used blue food color and icing sugar to accomplish the same. This is a very humble attempt by me despite being a beginner in baking.

Walnut Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream

Highly delicate,soft and crunchy brownie delight topped with chocolate ganache and served with vanilla ice cream. It came out really well with perfect texture inside and out. I made this as a dessert for a family dinner. This dessert is sure to make you drool over.

Rainbow Cake

This was indeed a herculean task for a beginner like me in baking. My friend had approached me to bake a rainbow cake for a short film. They gave me great confidence and encouraged me to do this.Making this was an extreme fun and a challenge at the same time.We just had one oven and we had to bake 7 layers individually and also shoot it in parallel. It totally took 10 hours for us to complete all the layers along with icing. The outcome was delicious and worth the effort :) This is a vanilla cake made in 7 different colors. This has been done using eggs as the script demanded. This definitely finds a special place in Griha Bhojanam's Archives.

Tried a 2 Color Layered Vanilla Cake with whipped cream frosting for the first time.It came out really well.The 3rd cake from the house of griha Bhojanam.

GB'S First Birthday Bakes

I baked my first birthday cake for my dear nephew on his 2nd birthday:):) This Butterscotch cake with whipped cream and butterscotch crush did come out decently well despite being my maiden attempt!!!! He loved every bite..!!! This is the first birthday cake from the house of Griha Bhojanam.

Baked an Egg less chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting and icing for my dearest buddy and it had turned out really well... Though am just a beginner in baking... I wanted to go few extra steps  to make something special for my dear friend!!!! For the first time tried icing and it turned out really well and liked by all:):) I know I still have a long way to go and this is the first addition to the list.The second birthday cake from the house of Griha Bhojanam.
